One of our investigative reporters has just
filed the story on Harken
that was promised yesterday. He is still
digging, but this is what he
has so far, and it is an amazing story that ties
in directly with the
investor's loss, and shows a possible way out of
this situation.
This is also an education in how the world
really works, for those who
care to learn something for once instead of just
arguing and debating
all their lives and not learning anything.

The connection between the situation with Harken
Energy, the Gold
mining
situation,
the Brothers, the Investments run by Banco
National loosing so much in
value in 2004,
the Bank Elca and other banks which have
recently been taken over,
the recent run on BAC, and the recent Strike.
What do these things have to do with each other ?
Let us take some history lessons, the CIA and
other governmental
operations
including the UK MI5, have had intelligence
economic teams here for
decades.
They have via their own discussions with their
elected representives in
the US and UK,
admitted to this as a way to keep control over a
country, specifically
Costa Rica as per
in the aftermath of the O North scandal of the
1980s.
The Harken Energy deal with Costa Rica was one
of the largest offshore
oil drilling
deals in this part of the world. It offers
Costa Rica the ability to
elimate its national debt
totally, and to elimate its need to collect
taxes of any sorts from its
people. In effect making
Costa Rica, independently wealth much like a
small middle eastern
state.
Well, Costa Rica after making a deal with Harken
decided under this
administration
to close the door to this, even after a contract
committing Costa Rica
to this was signed.
Not a wise move, when one looks at the history
of Harkin Oil and the
history of
Central America.
Next Costa Rica, backs off on the gold mining
contracts. Now the
environmental
issues are valid concerns but they are solveable
issues, one can mine
and drill for
oil without doing significant environmental
damage as long as Costa
Rica
monitors the environmental safe guards and does
not turn away from
looking.
Once, Costa Rica walked away from Harkin which
was a jewel in the
current
US president's chest and now has a former US
senator working as a
consultant
on this situation with Costa Rica, all sorts of
strange things start
happening.
There is a mysterious case in the North which
via an indirect
connection
involves the Brothers of Costa Rica. The
Brothers have been for the
last
19 years the life blood of making the Costa Rica
economic engine run.
The governments have danced around their extra
governmental agency
connections
and so forth. But let us face some reality,
when one of the brothers a
couple of
years ago became the subject of crew of hit men
who had orders to kill
him, who
came to the rescue ? The CIA and their good
friends the Mossad,
who picked up the brother and dropped him in
Israel for a while until
the hit team
was elimated.
So who better to know where the blocks are in
the Costa Rican economic
engine
than these intelligence agency ?
Gee does not George Bush Sr get CIA briefings
every single day ?
You can see the recent Michael Moore's film on
9/11 to confirm this and
other
facts.
So if they know where the blocks are why not
remove them.
The big one was the Brothers, via a series of
acts via an informal
channel
between Canada and Costa Rica a clear violation
of international
channels, laws
and treaties and lack there of. That should of
been a major tip off to
the Costa Rican
government what was going on here. However
their US governmental
handlers
played them like a flute knowing their greed ,
came up with this
concept
of the
Costa Rican government seizing some of the
Brother's money and once
they seized the money they knew that the
government could not get its
hands off of it.
Suddenly, there is a mounting debt crisis here
in Costa Rica due to the
mismanagement
of the funds of the country and the shutdown of
the Brothers. Who were
the cash providers
to the growth cycle of the country. The
leadership not being able to
admit it screwed up
went down this road by claiming that after 19
yrs of these people
operating here it was
a fraud. The US then got Costa Rica to go after
a whole series of
other
fish to elimate
that cash flow into the country leaving the
country at the begging
table
of the IMF and
others for loans. This begging table was deep
enought that Costa Rica
even went
along with providing its support for the war in
Iraq. Althought this
has or is in the process
of changing.
Now that these pieces of the economic pump have
been broken, and the
talks
with Harkin opened and then suddenly closed all
sorts of other
mysterious problems
happen. Banco National and their bond
investment fund, looses some
huge
percentage
of its fund's value sparking a run on the
investment. ONE major
problem
with this
story, in bond analysis you do not mark a bond
down to its street value
unless the
organization issuing the bond STOPS paying
interest on the bond. NONE
of the
bonds held in Banco National Portfolio stopped
paying interest. So
what
gives ?
This was chalked up as some inexperienced at the
BANK ?
I doubt it. This is how you crash an economic
system .
The Costa Rican Government still not getting the
message about Harkin
are they ?
OK, more stuff happens.
Banco Elca and other banks suddenly gets closed
over mismanagement by
its
management team. No one is claiming that the
banks are broke are they?
So what is the story here ?
Something is fundamentally wrong.
The Costa Rican Government is under pressure to
elimate the rentista,
and other
sources of income from abroad and to impose a
rought tax package and to
impose
massive budget cuts, under pressure from the IMF.
Still not getting the message about Harkin ?
In the mean time, more stuff is flying this
mysterious run on BAC which
could of
turned Costa Rica into a mess overnight.
BAC via being in more than Costa Rica was able
to overcome this storm
and basically
go we are alright. Also a good sign that BAC
does not have the CIA on
the inside of
the Bank.
Harkin calling anyone listening ??
In June of this year just days after Costa
Rica's leadership announces
that
it is withdrawning its support for the War in
Iraq. Costa Rica is
mysterious placed
on the OECD Black list just making it harder for
Costa Rica to attract
investment
capital. Looks more to be a punishment for the
withdrawal by a NAZI
organization.
Finally, after this mysterious event we have a
nationwide strike
inwhich
it was almost
a coup according to the leadership of Costa Rica.
Is anyone listening ? Harkin calling ?
So what is going on here ?
The close tie ins between Harkin, the varies
Great Powers, and the
events of the last few
years here in Costa Rica are crystal clear.
Someone in power wants to
put the
screws to the people of Costa Rica leaving them
no choice but to drill
for oil or
economically drop dead. Yet, via the gameship
of the CR government
they
are
actually helping themselves to screw their own
people's economic
needs,
and
their investors economics into the ground.
Something that the CIA was
betting
on based on their 20 yrs of gathering informaiton.
So what to do ?
Well, you can be stubborn about Harkin and end
up in an Argentina like
situation
in the future or you can go ok Harkin, we want
this BS over with.
We want Costa Rica declared to be a 100% tax
free state, eg no taxes
what
so ever from its people for jack, and we want
the Brothers and their
special deals back in biz. We also want a
massive bond placed to
protect
the environment so that we do not have a Valdez
disaster and got to
deal
with the International courts for the money.
This way this quiet
economic
warfare being waged comes to an end and Costa
Rica, its people, and
its investors come out the winner. Instead of
wondering what in the
flying
hell else are the guys in the CIA going to do
next here to get this
message out ?
